What is Zoozle?

Zoozle is an online auction house that specializes in penny auctions. To win at these auctions, the bidder pays to bid and competes with other bidders to place the final bid on an auction.  Each bid extends the auction by a number of seconds and raises the price by a penny.  If you don't have time to keep bidding, simply deploy your strategy with a Bid Buddy and let it hammer away at your competitors while you eat, work or sleep!

Are items new or used?

All items are brand new and shipped directly from our suppliers.

How does the auction work?

First you must register to make an account and then purchase a bid package.  Then use your bid credits to compete at auction.

In a Penny Auction,

1. Every auction starts at a penny

2. Each bid adds a penny to the price and resets the countdown clock once the auction falls below 16 seconds.

3. To win, you must submit the last bid

If an auction states 'Fixed Price' then the price does not change with each bid, so the starting price will be the final price (the "Would be" price shows what the price would be if it was not a fixed price auction).  All other auction rules are the same.  Usually, the fixed price is $0.00 and this will mean that  the winner pays no final cost and will only have paid the cost of bid credits used and shipping (if any).

If an auction is a 'Nail biter' Auction, then Bid Buddies are not allowed.

Why is there a fee for placing a bid?

The fee helps us cover the costs of products and get you amazing bargains, while offering a high quality of service.  Zoozle's bid credit price is among the cheapest in the industry at only $0.60 per credit.

How much does a bid cost? How do I get free bids??

Zoozle bid packs are available in the following sizes:

Log in or Sign up to purchase credits.

If you refer a friend, have them put in your user name or email during registration and get 10 free bid credits when they purchase their first bid package!

Is there a limit to the number of auctions I can win?

Yes, the following is our auction win limit schedule that follows a rolling 10 day window.  Upper limit slots can be filled with lower priced items, but not vice versa (ie. blue slots can be filled by green items).  If you are wondering what your current limits are, simply click on the colored dots in the top menu bar.

Wins | Color | Price Category

2       Green      $0.01 - $100

2       Blue         $100+

A fully colored circle indicates an available slot, a darkened circle indicates an auction win, and a small dot in a circle indicates you are the latest bidder in an auction and have the potential to win.  If you have a bid buddy set for an auction, you must have an available slot in that price category otherwise the bid buddy will be blocked from bidding.

I live outside the United States and Canada, can I bid?

At this time we are only operating within the United States.

Where do you ship?  How fast do you ship?

At this time we only ship within the United States.  Shipping times varry depending on product, supplier and current availability.  Items may be shipped from various suppliers and be subject to delays outside of our control.  Items will generally ship 2-4 weeks from date of purchase and come directly from the supplier.

What happens if I win?

If you win an auction, click on the 'My Zoozle' tab (see image below) to see your dashboard and pay for the auction. When we ship the item, the status will be reflected in your “Won Auctions” list, accessible through 'My Zoozle'

How does the Bid Buddy work?

The bid buddy is here to let you bid while you are away from a computer.  It needs to know the price to start bidding at, the price to stop bidding at, and how many bids you want to deploy within that range.  It will debit the bids and set them aside once set.  When within your set range, it will place them at a random time between 10-15 seconds.  If the bid buddy finishes bidding with any left over bids, they will be credited back to your account immediately.

How do I buy bid credits?

Click on 'My Zoozle' on the top tab bar and click “Purchase Credits” in the left column.  Or simply Log in or Sign up and click here!

Where can I see how much I have spent on bid credits in an auction?

Click on 'My Zoozle' on the top tab bar, and click “My Bids” to see your bid history.

I've placed a bid but I am currently not the highest bidder, why?

Bids can get placed quickly and sometimes others may have bid immediately after you so you got bumped down the list. You should be able to see yourself in the 'Bid History' though.

All of your account functions can be accessed through the 'My Zoozle' tab.
